Intent

Through the studying of History, students will investigate chronologically a broad period of History that focuses on both British, European and International History in order to understand their own sense of place and belonging. Students will develop a wider understanding of the world around them and how the present is very much shaped by the past, thus enabling them to critically analyse current affairs and Historical milestones.  During their learning journey, Amersham School students will be equipped with the skills and moral conscience that not only underpins our school values and ethos but allows them to flourish in the wider world.
