The Food Technology curriculum aims to ensure that students have an understanding of food, nutrition, cooking techniques and diverse cultural dishes. We aim to equip students with life skills which will enable them to maintain a healthy and nutritious diet. Students will be able to use their creative, organisational and practical skills to create and evaluate a range of dishes which could feature as part of a balanced diet. We also aim to provide students with an understanding of opportunities in the food industry as well as the confidence to work within a kitchen.
