Intent
Our mission is to equip students to be tech savvy, confident to operate hardware and software efficiently through our effective, organised delivery of the curriculum. Students offered Computer Science are encouraged to problem solve, present their knowledge of computer architecture, ethics covering IT eg cybersecurity, and also explore and understand current applications such as artificial intelligence.
The subject offers fun and challenging lessons with the aim to train students to create programs by applying good programming skills, implement creative models through a range of topics covered in the Computing curriculum. They should finally be prepared and poised to handle prospects in the Computing / IT field.
