Intent

The intent of Business and Enterprise is to facilitate high quality and engaging teaching and learning experiences, which link to aspirational career choices and help drive the future economy of our country. Excellence, enjoyment and maximising the potential of our students is a core focus of implementation, whilst using up-to-date case studies and current affairs to inspire and engage our learners.

Developing Foundational Knowledge: equip students with a comprehensive understanding of fundamental business concepts, theories, principles, and practices. Through engaging and interactive learning experiences, students will gain proficiency in areas such as marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, operations management, entrepreneurship, and business ethics.

Instilling Ethical Awareness and Social Responsibility: nurture ethical awareness and social responsibility among students. By exploring ethical dilemmas faced by businesses and examining the principles of corporate social responsibility, students will develop a strong ethical compass and an understanding of the importance of conducting business in an ethical and sustainable manner.

Business Studies provides students with a well-rounded education that not only imparts essential business knowledge and skills but also fosters critical thinking, ethical awareness, global perspective, and a lifelong passion for learning and innovation. Through this comprehensive curriculum, we aim to prepare students to excel as responsible and visionary leaders in the dynamic world of business.
