Intent
The Art curriculum focuses on creativity, skills, and knowledge to develop self-confidence in our students. They will be encouraged to question ideas and concepts, analyse artwork, and find links between artists’ work and the wider world, exploring the diversity of culture, context and technique.
Our curriculum allows students to work in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable with taking risks in their learning. Students will explore their own creativity while developing life skills such as problem-solving, idea generation, and conceptual thinking.
