Student Council
The Student Council is run BY the students FOR the students of Amersham School. The implementation, including meetings and events, is run by the outstanding leaders within the 6th Form. The Student Council is separated into six groups, each with a different focus.
The Teaching Group involves the analysis of effective teaching within the school, including teaching audits and interviewing of all prospective employees of the school.
The Engagement & Behaviour Group focuses on student performance in lessons, including reflection on conduct points as well as creating appropriate sanctions if needed.
The Public Relations and Community Group carefully assesses how best to demonstrate the phenomenal activities taking place within the school including promoting events and looking closely at charities for which the school can fundraise.
The Wellbeing Group discusses areas of the school life that can affect wellbeing and implement improvements accordingly.
The Environment Group implements strategies in working towards the Eco-School status and identifies areas of the school environment which could be improved.
The Equity Group focuses on inclusivity in our community and the implementation of strategies to promote equality and equity in the school community.

Each member of the Student Council has been voted for democratically within their Form group. As an ambassador for the School they have the potential to make useful and pertinent change.
