Post 18 Options

As our students approach the end of their education at Amersham School, they have many options available to them.

We support our Sixth Formers throughout Years 12 and 13 on their pathway to finding out about and applying to higher education and explore the different opportunities that they have. We run a series of ELDs throughout their Sixth Form programme of study, host a Higher Education Information Evening for parents and enable our students to visit university open days.

In Year 13, we guide our students through the all-important UCAS university application process and signpost our students toward the student finance options. The Form Tutors assigned to Year 13 forms remain the same every year so the students will have an expert with whichever route they choose to take; UCAS, Apprenticeship or finding employment
