Welcome to the Amersham School Association (ASA)
We are a registered charity that provides the opportunity for parents, staff and friends to work together to raise much needed funds to provide extra resources for our children at the school, while having fun doing it! Our motto is "many hands make light work" so everyone is welcome to join us and lend a hand.
If you would like to support the ASA by becoming a volunteer, or just share some ideas for fundraising events or activities across the school year please email asabucks@gmail.com
Please use the drop down menus below to find out more about the ASA.
Who are the ASA
We are a friendly team of volunteers, with the sole aim to work together to create fun, interesting and inclusive activities, which, raise funds for our wonderful school and help to support the #AmFam community.
It would be impossible to achieve our success without our amazing volunteers and we are always looking for people to join the ASA. There are many ways to get involved, joining the committee, taking a lead role in fundraising or volunteering to help out on the odd occasion with our events.
We have many volunteers and sadly cannot mention them all but we, as the Core Team, are proud and delighted to work with them to contribute to the success of the ASA and ultimately our School.
Meet the core team

Hello, I have a son at Amersham School and was a former pupil a fair few years ago now! I joined the ASA in 2022 as the new chair. I volunteer for the ASA as it is a great opportunity to meet new people, have fun and support our wonderful school.

When my first child joined the school in 2021, I was keen to become part of the ASA team to meet other parents at the school and see what I could do to help. Since then, together with our enthusiastic band of volunteers, we’ve rebuilt a real sense of community after the pandemic, bringing families back together through events, fundraising, and plenty of fun along the way.
“Teamwork makes the dream work” truly comes alive here. Everyone contributes something unique - time, creativity, skills, or simply enthusiasm - and it all adds up to making an impact for our children.
As I step into the role of Vice Chair in 2025, I’m looking forward not only to supporting our regular activities but also to helping guide our small charity as a Trustee. It’s a challenge I relish, because every decision we make is about giving the students at our school the best possible experience.
If you’ve ever thought about joining in, I can promise it’s rewarding, fun, and a wonderful way to connect with the school community. We’d love to have you on board!
