Welcome to the Amersham School Association (ASA)
We are a registered charity that provides the opportunity for parents, staff and friends to work together to raise much needed funds to provide extra resources for our children at the school, while having fun doing it! Our motto is "many hands make light work" so everyone is welcome to join us and lend a hand.
If you would like to support the ASA by becoming a volunteer, or just share some ideas for fundraising events or activities across the school year please email asabucks@gmail.com
Please use the drop down menus below to find out more about the ASA.
Who are the ASA
We are a friendly team of volunteers, with the sole aim to work together to create fun, interesting and inclusive activities, which, raise funds for our wonderful school and help to support the #AmFam community.
It would be impossible to achieve our success without our amazing volunteers and we are always looking for people to join the ASA. There are many ways to get involved, joining the committee, taking a lead role in fundraising or volunteering to help out on the odd occasion with our events.
We have many volunteers and sadly cannot mention them all but we, as the Core Team, are proud and delighted to work with them to contribute to the success of the ASA and ultimately our School.
Meet the core team
Claire Clifford
Hello, I have a son at Amersham School and was a former pupil a fair few years ago now! I joined the ASA in 2022 as the new chair. I volunteer for the ASA as it is a great opportunity to meet new people, have fun and support our wonderful school.
Heidi Nelson
I am the ASA’s co-vice chair. I have a son at Amersham School. I volunteer at the ASA because I felt the teachers deserve our support!
Nicola Gibson
I am the ASA's co-vice chair with two sons at Amersham School. Some of you might recognise me from Chestnut Lane School, where I have been a Governor for 7 years and work as a teaching assistant. I am a strong believer in volunteering to help the community.
Sid Ninan
I am a father of 2 daughters; currently my eldest daughter is studying Year 9 at Amersham School. I love to cycle around the Chilterns and support Chesham Cricket Club.
