House System
The ever popular House System revolves around the concept of friendly rivalry and the potential to be the leading 'Alpha' House! The six Houses (Beta, Delta, Kappa, Omega, Sigma and Zeta) are run by enthusiastic staff and 6th Form leaders - all of whom have the desire to be the best!
House Captains are a pivotal role within the House System, as are Events Captains, who are essential for the smooth running of each House event. Each form has a House and therefore House Captains are voted in using a democratic process.
Each half term new events are completed, either on a whole school or smaller group basis. Each event, alongside Conduct points and participation in whole school events, leads to the pinnacle of the House System season - the House Festival! The events are designed to encourage participation from all students and are incredibly diverse. Each year the Heads of House are astounded by the commitment, talent and resilience of each House.
