Summary of KS4 Key Attainment and Progress Data 2022-2023
  School Figures
Percentage of students who achieved 9-4 in English and Maths 73.8%
Percentage of students who achieved 9-5 in English and Maths 56.1%
Attainment 8 Score (1) 51.04
Estimated Progress 8 Score (2) 0.44
Percentage of students entered for the English Baccalaureate subjects (3) 28%

(1) Attainment 8 : Schools get a score based on how well students have performed in up to 8 qualifications, which include English, maths, 3 qualifications including sciences, computer science, history, geography and languages, and 3 other additional approved qualifications.

(2) Progress 8 is a measure of the progress students make between the end of primary school and the end of KS4. Progress 8 considers results for each student in English, Maths, up to 3 subjects from the Ebacc list (including Science) and students' three highest scores from a range of other qualifications. The average Progress 8 score of all secondary schools nationally is 0. Schools with a Progress 8 score of +0.5 achieve half a grade higher in each qualification compared to other similar students nationally. A Progress 8 score of +0.5 shows that students in that school are making well above the expected level of progress. An estimated Progress 8 grade is calculated but a validated score will be made available by the DfE during the academic year following results.

(3) The English Baccalaureate is not a test or qualification; it is a measure used to provide information about a particular range of qualifications. A student is considered to have entered the English Baccalaureate if they entered the following subjects: English, maths, sciences, a language and either history or geography.
